Forward:
This is not a story about football. It is a story about criminals and a new idea of how to deal with them. It is a radical
idea and will probably never be tried. Football is only used to start off the story. However since we are on the subject.
Football has provided us with many great Sunday afternoons and in the twentieth century it was fantastic. There were
many great teams and many great players. Many great players never got the chance to play on Championship teams.
Fictitious names have been used for teams and players and location in this story. However this dose not effect the
story line. You can put in your own favorite team names and players. This story is completely fiction and no
resemblance to actual events, people, sports teams, leagues, coaches or locations is intended or implied.
I hope you enjoy my story and just maybe it will inspire the very wealthy to consider this idea to help rid the world of
these major criminals.

Chapter 01

DIAL 1- (800) REWARDS It is the fourth quarter with 1 minute 28 seconds to play. The score is Denver 26 San
Francisco 21.Its first down and ten yards to go on the San Francisco 32 yard line. The Quarterback thinks, We have
been in this type situation before. Only sixty eight yards to go with almost a minute and a half to play in the game.
Should be a piece of cake. He falls back to pass, but they know he has to pass so he is rushed by nine determined
players. He scrambles on the soft Candlestick Park tide and storm soaked turf. He somehow maintains his footing as
several tacklers slide off his slippery, mud covered back, where he has been a good part of the afternoon. However,
in avoiding them and to maintain his footing, he is forced to run towards the wrong goal line. Then from his blind side
he barely sees 325 lbs of human meat block the rainy sky from his view. Just as he feels the sweaty mass drive his
head into the muddy turf, just outside the San Francisco ten yard line, he says, Oh Shit, not again!

Suddenly it is second down with 32 yards to go. The clock is still running while he struggles to his feet and into the
huddle. Just as he says,Come on guys, we can still do this! He collapses and falls to the turf and passes out from yet
another concussion. Their last time out is charged for the injury, with 42 seconds on the clock. The famous
Quarterback is carried out on the medical wagon still unconscious as the crowd is on their feet.
The new back up Quarterback, who has only played two quarters this season is now thrust into the biggest game of
his life. The League Championship game is on the line. He only has 42 seconds and 91 long yards in front of him.
The coach calls a screen to Jeff. He gets by three tacklers and gets to the 50 yard line, where he goes out of bounds
to avoid a tackle in bounds.

Unfortunately a holding call moves the ball back to the 6" line of San Francisco, and the play cost them 12 seconds.
The crowd is still on their feet and the noise from the stadium can be heard all the way to Sacramento!

On the 50 yard line, four rows up from the field, behind the San Francisco bench is Mr. Dennis Morton with his 21 and
23 year old son and daughter and their mother. Of the 70,000 plus fans in the stands, he seems to be the only calm
person. He leans over to is wife and says, Honey, this next play is likely to save us ten million dollars.
The clock is stopped again with an Denver down on the field.

At the San Francisco bench the coach says, Okay guys, this is it, any suggestions? The first string Quarterback, who
has just regained consciousness says, They know we have to pass, so lets go with the reverse to Jeff and run it. The
coach says, Wow!, you really took a hard hit on the head. We can't run it out of the end zone on the last play of the
game with our sixth trophy on the line! Jeff says, I can do this coach, if we send everyone out to the left and I turn
after they all commit and come right and take the reverse hand off . They will bite, I know it! The coach says, Okay
lets do it! Its only my job and the Championship on the line! The first string QB is still to weak to go back in. So the
replacement stays in the game. Who ever called this a game, with so much at stake.
Back in the huddle he says. This is it fellas, lets go get number six! He goes back with the fake pass and the four
receivers go left and the defense commits. He hands the ball to the fullback, Jeff turns right and takes it from him.
One defender sees it and rushes him. As he is hit in the end zone the slippery ball pops into the air and into the
quarterbacks hands. Jeff breaks into the open with his defender now on the ground and all the others on the opposite
side and catches the backward lateral pass, still in the end zone, with a wide open field ahead of him. He evades
several defenders who chase him across the field, but just can't catch him and runs 100 yards to pay dirt and the
sixth Championship for the San Francisco team! The crowd is on its feet and the stadium is in bedlam.
Wow, that play was worth the ten million it cost me, said Mr. Morton as he makes eye contact above the stadium, with
a glowing SF team owner in his sky box and exchanges two thumbs up with him!
