Universal/Nondenominational DAILY PRAYER.
This prayer is intended to be used by all faiths. We all pray to the same God.
We may call Him by a different name, but He is the same God. Just insert the
name of the God you pray to in the blank spaces.
Oh, _________________________________________________,
I humbly implore You to hear and answer this fervent prayer.
Please grant me the divine grace to live my life as Your servant. Show me the way to
resist the temptations of the flesh and of worldly things, so that I might please You and
inspire all in my family to live by Your Law and to be a good example to all others.
From this moment on, I hereby dedicate my life to You, with all my prayers, labors, pain ,
suffering, joy, happiness, peace, love, successes and failures as my humble offerings for
the following intentions in equal proportion. Please let this stand for all the days of my
life, including any changes, even if I forget.
First: An offering of thanksgiving to You for all the blessings, necessities and good
things You have provided to me and my family in our lives.
Second: An offering of penance for all the sins and wrongs I have committed or ever will
commit in my lifetime.
Third: For the safe delivery into Your loving care, the soul of the next and each
successive person I am related to or acquainted with, who dies before me. And to comfort
their loved ones.
Fourth: A sincere request that You will bring all Earthly beings together and help us put
aside our cultural, spiritual, nationality differences and prejudices so that we, our children
and grandchildren may finally live together, worldwide in peace and love.
Fifth: (Insert your own special intentions here. More than one is allowed).
Finally, _________________________, please hear and grant these requests and I
plead that You are at the sides of my children, my grandchildren, myself, all my other
family and friends at the hours of our deaths to take us to spend eternity with You and all
our loved ones. Amen.
